Klondike rules

Build columns in descending rank with alternating colors. Empty columns accept kings. Build foundations from ace to king in a single suit.

Touch controls

Touch a face-up card and drag it immediately, including an exposed sequence. You can also select a card and tap its destination. Double-tap a face-up card in the waste, tableau, or foundations to try a foundation first, then a legal column. If no destination is legal, the card stays selected. Only the top waste or foundation card is available.

The Fork

Choose New → Two Paths · The Fork. Create one fork per game and explore up to five moves in each path. Tap Path A or Path B to compare, then Keep A/B to commit. Undo restores an exploration move and cannot go before the fork while exploring. After committing, the fork cannot be used again. A winning path counts only after you keep it.

Landscape play

On iPhone, Wide Table places the stock and waste on the left, columns in the center, and foundations on the right. Game commands are in the upper ellipsis menu; The Fork opens from its upper button. Portrait and iPad layouts have a bottom command bar.

Hints and auto-complete

Hints suggest legal moves, not a guaranteed winning solution. Auto-complete becomes available when stock and waste are empty and every tableau card is face up. Commit a Two Paths path before auto-completing.

Appearance, daily deals, and saves

Style changes the table, card back, and draw count for new games. Daily challenges use one-card draws and the UTC date. Deals are reproducible but not certified solvable. The app saves your game and statistics locally and works without an internet connection.

Why does a card stay in place?

The move may not follow Klondike rules, the card may be face down, or the current Two Paths path may have reached its five-move limit. Use Undo, switch paths, or keep a path to continue.
